In my private mind garden, I imagine that, at some point, AZ and Nas discussed the idea of the two of them putting out an album together. I mean, wouldn’t that, in theory, have been…🔥? 

Their strength as a duo wasn’t simply that both were great MCs, it’s also that their voices fit together well by offering enough contrast where you’d never confuse the two but being close enough for them to sound like MC siblings of a sort. It’s a rarer quality than you might think and it’s been a key to these two MCs chemistry for years now.
