Maniphest: Scratch Samba (Fat City, 1999, Mystic Brew – The Main Ingredients EP Pt. 2)
Scratch instrumental.
All the Mystic Brew releases were super-solid anthologies, mixing up everything from indie underground hip-hop acts to wicked remixes to reissued funk tracks. This came off one of their “spare” EPs and while it’s not quite as “samba” as I might have been lead to expect, it’s still good enough to move on the dancefloor.

i always liked those fat city comps too… hodge podge in the best sense. this cut is a little frenetic/choppy for me but def. enjoyable
