I’ve actually written about both of these albums in the past and it’s very cool that the Light in the Attic folks decided to put both out as a double-LP set, limited to 1000 copies on vinyl. The group has long had two of more sought-after soul jazz albums to emerge from the Pacific Northwest so it makes sense that Seattle’s LITA would be the ones to reissue ’em. The release comes with a download card good for three unreleased tracks, including a very smooth version of “Mercy, Mercy, Mercy.”
