YOU DON’T HAVE TO GO: PHOEBE SNOW, RIP

Phoebe Snow: Poetry Man
From S/T (Shelter, 1974)

Meant to do this earlier in the week but RIP to Phoebe Snow. I originally posted about her back in 2007 and in revisiting “Poetry Man” this week, in the wake of her death, I’m just reminded by how incredibly sublime this song is. At only 60, Snow is just one of many who’ve left us before her time.

  1. Why do so many beautiful voices leave us early. Ms. Snow, what a beautiful soul.
