Eddie King: Kindness, Love & Understanding (Big Wheel, 1970, 7″)
365 Days of Soul, #153
An Alabama native, King recorded a handful of singles between 1960 and ’70. This is a very solid two-sider (here’s the flip) that appeared on Frank Kocian’s Big Wheel imprint. “Kindness, Love & Understanding” is a wonderfully simple and understated deep soul cut, doing more with less.

I think you are adding this NYC 45 to the Chicago-based guitarist who recorded on J.O.B. and Conduc and Roesch. This is the New York songwriter and sometime recording artist Edmond E. King.
