When my students do their reports on binge drinking amongst college students, this could end up being Exhibit A (doh!)
Son of Bazerk and No Self Control- I SWEAR ON A STACK OF OLD HITS from HWIC Filmworks on Vimeo.
In all seriousness, this is one of the first songs/videos where the relative “oldness” of the artists isn’t a detriment but part of the flavor of it all. Sometimes, 40 isn’t the new 30; sometimes, it’s just the new “grown”.
A possible contender for England’s new national anthem. Though the passion for alcohol over here extends way beyond beer -just shy of anti-freeze, as far as i can tell after 10 years of living here.
Ah, L&S…
Good to see people are feeling the new Son of Bazerk viceo. The group are doing their first headlining club date since reforming on Dec. 23 at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, along with the reformed Leaders of the New School (Charlie, Dinco and Milo) and Granddaddy I.U. They’ve done some warmup sets for P.E. and some other spot dates, but for the first time in 19 years they’ll be the stars of the show.
